There are many events on the go throughout the year including: concerts (which we will try and post), and the weekly jam sessions and workshops at the Atlantic Super Store Community room in Charlottetown every Friday. The workshops are from 7pm to 8pm. The jam is from 8pm to around 10pm. These get togethers are alot of fun and very educational as well. 2007 Festivals & EventsBluegrass & Oldtime Country Jamborees every Monday - at the Summerside Legion, 340 Notre Dame Street, downstairs in the Lounge, with the exception that, every third Monday will be a Variety Concert presented by “The Country Grass Band” and will be held upstairs in the Bingo Hall. Time is 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a jam from 9:00 to 11:00PM. Cost is just $5.00 This week MONDAY --March 24th, 2008 will Feature: "The Wildman Dennis the Menace" , on keyboard & Vocals as well as John O' Hallarhan on vocals. as well as The Country Grass Band (Leonard Perry , Jack Darrach, Bill Walsh, John Campbell & Guy Cormier), plus others local talent not yet confirmed. Bring your guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, electric bass, bass fiddle, harmonica, Acoustic Instruments, come and join in our jam ...........
